Cold Rolled Sheet

Cold Rolled Sheet

The Hot Rolled Coil, the surface of which is cleaned of scale with acid, is rolled to the targeted thickness by passing through a reversible or tandem rolling mill (4-5 legged roll) to bring it to a thinner thickness. However, the sheet in this state is brittle and hard. (CRF-CCRF “fullhard”) In order to form the sheet, it is annealed by heating and cooling to a certain temperature in Continuous annealing or Bulk Annealing plants. In order to improve the mechanical and surface properties of the annealed sheet, a low rate of crushing (tempering) is done. Necessary tests are performed on the sample taken, and its compliance with the requested feature is checked. The tempered sheet is shipped to the customer as a roll or by slicing and cutting the paint.

General Usage Areas

Deep drawn grades suitable for cold forming are used in the production of durable household appliances, the production of visible and invisible parts of the automotive sector, the production of white goods, home and office furniture, heating - cooling - ventilation equipment and all similar applications.

Extra deep drawable sheets are used in the manufacture of all kinds of parts that require deep plastering. In addition to its weldable properties, chemical coating can be applied to the surface easily.

Low-carbon and high-strength-low alloy steel grades produced by micro-alloying method are used, which can be well formed, especially in the production of automotive parts that require high strength.

Sheets suitable for single/double layer enamel are used in the production of enameled kitchen utensils (such as oven-pots) that preserve the properties of the food in addition to their deep drawability.
